My husband and I just completed our tour from Marrakech to Fes, 8 nights/ 9 days, and we are so happy with our experiences! We chose the luxury accommodations, and each one was truly fabulous. We felt the splurge was absolutely worth every penny.

Younes picked us up at our Riad in Marrakech, and the amazing adventure began! There were so many stunning and beautiful places to see. Gorgeous views of nature and awe inspiring kasbahs. Younes brought each site to life for us. He was very knowledgeable and made each place shine. We learned so much about the history and cultures of Morocco from him. Our biggest highlight, the Erg Chebbi camel rides, were incredible. Exceeded our expectations. Watching the sunset after our camel ride, and then getting a second ride for sunrise was so beautiful. We will always treasure that memory. (The camel guides are excellent photographers!)

Our visit to a nomad mother and her 5 year old son was very meaningful. Such a wonderful opportunity. She was very gracious. She and her son were so joyful and happy. It was an honor and a pleasure to be invited into their home and be their guests. Younes made this visit effortless for us. He was charming and made all of us feel comfortable and happy to be together.

I can’t imagine trying to do any of this exploring without Younes as our guide. We relied heavily on his excellent communication skills, and his extensive knowledge. He kept our days lively and upbeat with his great sense of humor. We wanted to try authentic local foods, and Younes totally delivered. One of the many gracious things he did for us…on the night of our camel ride, he tied our scarves for us in the Berber fashion (he actually lent my husband his scarf!)

It was an experience of a lifetime! Thank you so much to Younes and everyone at Authentic Tours Marrakech.

Our tour in Morocco started with a pick up from the aiport in Marrakech. It was well organized, and the work was taken care of for us as we didn’t have to map our way to Merzouga, drive ourselves, or worry about where to stop for rest and breaks.
.Our guide Mohammed was a professional guide.
He was a very professional, friendly, and helpful tour guide. He made sure to listen to us and take care of our needs. I enjoyed him very much!

We were two couples and fit comfortably in the AWD 4-Runner.

On the first night, we stayed in a wonderful, small resort hotel, and we could and would’ve stayed there longer! It was so relaxing, the food was delicious, and there was a pool and other great amenities.

The camel ride was comfortable, and for June, it wasn’t too hot, and there was a mild breeze.

If you are a touristy kind of tourist, this is the perfect way to see the Sahara! But if you are into rugged and outback travel, I’m sure there are other ways to get to the heart of the Sahara! Thanks, Moroccan Travel for this journey in Morocco
