This 12-day private Morocco tour starts and ends in Tangier — the natural gateway if you are coming from Spain by ferry (Tarifa or Algeciras, about an hour across the Strait) or flying into Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport. Your driver meets you at the port, the airport or your hotel.
From the north you travel through Morocco in one big loop: the Andalusian medina of Tetouan, the blue city of Chefchaouen, Volubilis and Meknes, a guided day in Fes, a camel ride and a night in a luxury desert camp in Merzouga, the Todra Gorge and the Dades Valley, and then three nights in Marrakech with a day trip to the Atlantic town of Essaouira. On the way back north you see Casablanca and Rabat, and finish in the seaside town of Asilah before returning to Tangier.
