From Tangier to Marrakech
Depart from Tangier at 8 am
With our Tangier desert tours 4 days you will have a wonderful short tour in Morocco. Our Tangier desert tours for 4 days will depart at 8 am. One of our drivers will pick you up from your hotel in Tangier in our private, comfortable, luxury, and air-conditioned vehicle. You will head to the imperial city of Fes passing through the blue city of Morocco Chefchaouen you will have time to see the beautiful town for maybe 1 hour.
Following, you will drive for 4 hours to Fes, you will check in to your hotel before you go on a short walk to see the old Medina of Fes. When you finish your walk your driver will drop you off at your hotel. Dinner is not included however you can have it at the Riad or eat outside in a restaurant.
You will continue our desert tours from Tangier on the second day, departing from Fes after having a delicious breakfast. You will head to the Moroccan Sahara desert through the gorgeous Serene of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Following, you will stop in Azrou to wander inside the famous Cedar forest and feed the little Barbary Macaque monkeys.
Next, we will pass by Midelt and some Berber villages before reaching Meerzouga where you will meet our camel guide who will take you on a camel ride experience to your luxury desert camp, which is in the middle of the golden sandy dunes of Erg Chebbi.
Upon your arrival at the desert camp, the staff will serve you tea and have some rest before then they serve you dinner. After you finish your dinner the staff will set a fire and play drum music for you. You’ll spend the second night of our Tangier desert tour 4 days in a desert camp.
On the third day of our Tangier desert tours 4 days, it is recommended to wake up early to see the beauty and magic of the sunrise in the Moroccan Sahar. It is where the shape of the dunes combines with the morning sur-rays to create an astonishing view. Your journey for today will take you through many villages and towns. Among those, you drive by Rissani town where you can visit a traditional souk. Here you can buy some Moroccan spices and dates.
Following, you will drive for 20 minutes to Erfoud to visit a fossils factory and Museum before heading to the Todra Canyon. You will have time to walk along the canyon and see its 300 m (984 Feet) high walls. In addition, your Tangier desert tour will continue to Dades Gorge where you will see the famous Rock formation known as Mokey toes.
Today is the last day of this Tangier Desert Tour 4 days. Following, the breakfast at your accommodation, you will leave on a scenic drive to Ait Ben Haddou, passing through the Valley of Roses and Ouarzazate. This route takes you through numerous picturesque Berber villages.
In Ouarzazate, you have the option to explore the Atlas Studio. The latter is set for many famous international movies. However, if you are not interested in going inside you can take some pictures from outside.
about 15 kilometers from Ouarzazate, you will make it to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, recognized for its appearance in Game of Thrones as Yunkai and its roles in numerous other iconic films such as Gladiator
Following a visit to the Kasbah and a satisfying lunch, your journey continues to Marrakech, driving through the majestic High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass, which is 2260 meters above sea level (7,444 Feet). Along this scenic route, enjoy the breathtaking landscapes that unfold before you. Your day concludes with your arrival in Marrakech, expected in the late afternoon.
