Our exploration day to the Medina of  Marrakech can be as follows. The city is most famous for the central Djemma El Fna square, where you can enjoy dried fruits and freshly squeezed orange juice during your visit.

The tour will take you to several key spots, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Mosque, El Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Medersa Quranic School, and the Saadian Tombs.

After a day filled with exploration, you’ll return to your accommodation, with the option to head back out for another night of fun in the heart of the city.

Day 4 Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou kasbah – Ouarzazate [195 km]

Departures usually start at 8:15 am, with the journey heading towards Ouarzazate. We’ll cross into the High Atlas Mountains, making our way through the Tichka Pass. The tour includes a visit to the Telouet Kasbah.

Afterward, we continue until we reach Ait Ben Haddou, where we’ll stop for lunch. This site is a UNESCO World Heritage location.

The trip also includes a walk around the Kasbah and a visit to the film studios. The day ends in Ouarzazate, where you’ll spend the night in local accommodations.

I wanted a safe experience for an adventurous middle-aged woman traveling alone. Traveling in a group or in a combination is not really what I like, as I don’t like to adapt to the schedules of other people whose interests are not the same as mine. My route was well planned, but it also allowed enough flexibility for spontaneous changes. Mubarak, my guide, was professional and treated me like a rock star. I felt safe walking the back roads and also seeing the sights of the most famous cities in Morocco. I would recommend this company to anyone.
