On the first day of your 10 Morocco Tour from Tangier, we will meet you in the port/airport of Tangier, We will start driving to see Hercules Cave, as it’s one of the most famous sights in Tangier. Continue towards Chefchaoun, the blue city, via the Rif mountains, enjoying the views of the beautiful mountains.
On our arrival in Chefchaouen, which is a 2 to 3-hour drive from Tangier,. You will check in at your hotel. and you will have free time to walk and see the highlights of the small Medina. Overnight in a hotel in Chefchaouen Medina.
The second day of your Morocco Desert tour from Tangier starts after breakfast at your Riad in Chefchaouen. Our journey will start towards Volubilis, crossing the mountains and other Rif villages with a green landscape.
After we make our way to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, you will have time to explore this amazing archeological site of Moroccan history. Then, you will continue your journey to Meknes, which was the capital of Morocco in the 17th century. You will stop for lunch and walk around the huge historical walls of the Medina, and its historical monuments. After the discovery of Meknes City, you. will drive to Fes, where you will spend the second night of the 10-day Morocco trip from Tangier.
This day of your Morocco tour from Tangier is dedicated to exploring the oldest city in Morocco, Fes City. You will start your day after meeting the city guide. First, he is going to see the Royal Palace Gate of Fes and the oldest Jewish quarter (MELLAH) in Morocco. You will also visit one of the ceramic factories outside of Medina.
You will have lunch in the Medina, and you will visit the famous tanneries in Fes, Bou Anania Madrasa, and the University of Alqarawiyyin, founded in 857-879 as the spiritual and educational center of the city of Fes. By the time the walking tour finishes, you can go on a free walk in the medina then head to your accommodation.
On the fourth day of our 10-day Morocco tour from Tangier, we will leave Fes city and drive south to Azrou via Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) and the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping to photograph barbarian apes in a cedar grove.
After lunch, we will resume our journey to the Sahara Desert via the Ziz Valley, Erfoud, and Rissani. By the time we arrive, you will start a short journey on the camel to your luxury desert camp with dinner and breakfast.
This day of your tour from Tangier to Marrakech starts after breakfast in the camp and a camel trek back to Merzouga. You will start your journey of exploring the Merzouga desert by driving through the desert in a 4×4 vehicle. We will also have the opportunity to visit a nomadic family close to the borders between Morocco and Algeria before we head to the village of dark-skinned people, originally slaves from Sudan, listen to Gnaoua music, and experience their lifestyle. Overnight in a hotel or riad.
On Day 6 of your 10-Day Morocco Desert Tour from Tangier, we will start the journey to Dades Gorges via Rissani, the foundation of the current ruling family and the place for caravan routes during the old ages. Following, we will drive by the City of Fossils Erfoud, where you can visit one of the museums of fossils.
We will have a stop here before we leave for the Todra Gorges, where we will have a walk under the 300-meter-high cliffs. Arrive in Dades Gorges in the evening, for dinner, and overnight in a hotel or road.
Today, we leave Dades Valley for Marrakech. You will stop in Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Studio. After we drive to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is a place where many international movies are filmed, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, the famous Game of Thrones, and more.
Your driver will take you to a place for lunch. Then you will drive to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi Ntichka pass (2260 meters). We will have a stop in a panoramic view for pictures. By the time you make it to the Red City, you will check in to your hotel and have a free evening.
On this day, your tour will be a sightseeing tour of Marrakech. The Almoravid dynasty built Marrakech at the end of the 11th century. The city always attracts travelers worldwide due to its history, colors, smells, local culture, weather, the famous Square of Jamaa El Fena, and its souks, which are in unique harmony.
Our local guide will take you to discover the most remarkable highlights of the city. You will visit Saadian tombs, the Kutoubia mosque with its minaret, Bahia Palace, the Souks, and Djemaa el Fna Square.
After you finish your explorations of the Medina, our driver will take you to discover the beautiful Majorelle Garden, which is located in the new part of Marrakech.
Day 9 of your 10-day Morocco tour from Tangier takes you from Marrakech to Essaouira. Your journey to Essaouira starts after breakfast, and it is a 3-hour drive. After arriving in Essaouira around midday, you will have free time to walk in its Medina and local markets.

The last day of your 10-day journey from Tangier to Marrakech takes you from the city of winds, Essaouira, to Marrakech. After you finish your breakfast at your hotel, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive you straight to the airport in Marrakech, which is 3 hours from Essaouira.

The tour was very complete and allowed us to see a wide variety of what Morocco has to offer: cities, deserts, villages, mountains, etc.
I’d particularly highlight our driver Hassan, who made the whole trip very easy going with his good driving and kindness. He was super friendly and helpful throughout, had great driving skills, and kept the car super clean. I would definitely want him as a driver again
